We acknowledge that some leagues were established and functioned before their respective federations became affiliated with FIFA. For the purposes of this site, our collection focuses on the classifications from First Division leagues of countries that are recognized by IFAB and FIFA. This approach allows us to maintain a clear and consistent standard across our extensive database.

We also recognize the immense challenge of documenting the complete history of every club, especially those with less accessible historical records.
